Recently, a group of eight from the Thai delegation visited our group on the approaching of the Spring Festival to discuss various issues that the two parties intend to cooperate with, including joint research and development and mobile broadband 5G technology, the Internet of Things, mission-critical applications (but not Limited to satellites), data compression, thin-film security / encryption sim cards (including other network security), low-energy clouds and edge computing-related ecosystems, value chains and solutions.

The Thai delegation stated that 2019 will be an important year for the Thai and Chinese people, and the friendly relations between the two countries will be closer this year. "In 2019, the crowning ceremony of the new king was held in Thailand, and the grand celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the new China was held in China. These are the embodiment of higher-level relations between countries than the amount of economic and trade investment and tourism revenue generation. "

Regarding China-Thailand cooperation on the “Belt and Road”, Mr. Li Jianjun, chairman of our group, said that more and more Chinese investors have shown willingness to invest in Thailand ’s Eastern Economic Corridor, and the Thai-Chinese railway cooperation project has also made progress. During the second “Belt and Road” international cooperation summit, Thailand, China and Laos will sign a memorandum of cooperation on the China-Laos-Thailand railway. This project involves the interconnection of China, Thailand and ASEAN. It is hoped that the project can be completed as soon as possible.

According to Thailand, one of Thailand's current priorities is to promote the development of the digital economy through the development of digital infrastructure and the promotion of digital technology applications. Last year, Thailand and China held relevant meetings in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China to promote bilateral cooperation in the digital field. Thailand and other ASEAN countries can exchange useful experiences with China under the “Belt and Road” framework. Specific areas include rulemaking and coordination, digital innovation, personnel exchanges, addressing the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and promoting sustainable development.

In addition, the Thai government has promoted the Economic 4.0 policy and the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) plan. It has a 20-year policy guideline and a series of policy blueprints. Investors from all countries now invest in real estate in Thailand. Real estate developers in Bangkok emphasize that after the completion of the Bangkok MRT's complete road network in the next 2029 (the current 69 stations will expand to 300), the world's first city of Bangkok will no longer suffer from traffic jams, and will be everywhere Very convenient, now entering the market is the best time to catch the train of Thai property appreciation.

"Thailand clearly recognizes the importance of Southeast Asia for the implementation of the" Belt and Road "initiative. Thailand is located in the center of Southeast Asia and connects six economic corridors. This strategic position makes it possible for Thailand and China to expand subregional and regional cooperation. Especially It is the eastern economic corridor of Thailand and can be used as a production and distribution base for export commodities to Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam. In addition to cooperation on the Eastern Economic Corridor project, the two countries can also jointly promote the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay The regional and eastern economic corridors are seamlessly connected. At the same time, the cooperation between China and ASEAN countries is further strengthened by tapping the potential of multiple cooperation frameworks and initiatives in the region.

In the end, we and the Thai side reached a consensus on the construction of 5G projects and the Thai government's affordable housing construction project through bilateral negotiations, signed a framework agreement with the joint efforts of both teams, and determined that after the Spring Festival, our group will return to Thailand and develop plans for the project. It is hoped that the two sides will work together to bring new opportunities for win-win development and cooperation for Thailand, the countries along the Belt and Road and Southeast Asia.
